The section of the book that I read is about this animal name Ishmael whom is teaching his student about history. Ishmael told his student to tell him how life came to be. By doing that, Ishmael is trying to teach the main character the missing thing in his life.
There is currently two character in the book. One of which his name is not mentioned. The other character is named Ishmael. Ishmael is the teacher whom is teaching the main character the thing that he feel like is missing from his life. I feel like Ishmael is trying to influence the main character into what he think is true.

1) What is Ishmael trying to show the main character?
2) Why is Ishmael doing all of this?
"Why is Ishmael doing all this" is a good question, but it needs more clarification. What do you mean by "all this"? His teaching? His thoughts? Try to answer this as you read more.
